
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the agroturismo we stayed on had kiwi trees, so it’s not surprising that the starter for one of the dinners was a platter with kiwi jam, fresh cheese, harder cheese, peach and… fresh kiwis!

The main dish from that dinner also deserves a mention. It was just penne (or maybe there’s a more specific name to this shape of pasta?) with a roasted aubergine and tomato sauce, topped with some grated Parmesan cheese.
It was, as the starter, simple and delicious!
